LSL steering damper kit with parts certificate
The designers of particularly sporty motorbikes with extremely low weights and extreme steering head angles regularly suffer the effects of shimmy (handlebar flutter) and kick-back (handlebar slap) – phenomena that impair riding pleasure and safety.
In racing, steering dampers are used to get these influences under control. LSL also offers this instrument for use on the road.
The correct mounting of the steering damper is of decisive importance for its optimal performance and faultless function. LSL therefore develops individual mounts for each model. The steering damper kits come with model-specific parts certificates, and installation is described in detail in comprehensive fitting instructions.
